NPHS Advanced Jazz Auditions 2024

 

All students will Improv 12-bar blues in F over a track. This MUST be pure improv and should not be a solo that you have written out. High School students will audition LIVE after school on May 21 or 22. Look for a sign-up sheet on the band room doors and sign up for a time slot. Students will come with their instrument ONLY. A chord sheet will be provided when you arrive—you will NOT be allowed to use your chord sheet. Middle school students interested may submit a video via Youtube—make sure that the provided track, as well as your own performance is clear and balanced in your video before sending.
